Pu’u O Hoku Ranch is a 14 000 acre certified organic ranch surrounded by lush pastures, tropical forests and the blue Pacific Ocean. It is located on the remote east end of Molokai about an hours drive from the nearest town. The elevation of the Pu’u O Hoku Ranch Lodge and Cottages is 700 feet.

From the Lodge, there are miles of scenic hiking on Ranch roads and trails. A beautiful sandy beach is close by and horseback rides throughout the pristine ranch lands can be arranged. The accommodations are comfortable and very casual.

The Lodge
Pu'u O Hoku (Hill Of Stars) Ranch in Hawaii is a beautiful tropical Retreat facility dedicated to nourishing the mind, body and spirit, where deep renewal and inner focus are key. Our remote site on the eastern tip of Molokai is surrounded by 14,000 acres of pristine conservation land.

Pu'u O Hoku's old-style Hawaiian Lodge and cottages sit atop hills gently rising from the sea, surrounded by gardens and spectacular ocean views. The location is perfectly suited for teachers to hold retreats, seminars and workshops where privacy, natural beauty and serenity are key elements.

Besides hosting retreats, Pu'u O Hoku is a working organic ranch, HOFA certified for beef, vegetables, fruit and awa. Caring for the land is at the heart of our operations, as we believe that through nourishing the land we ultimately nourish all life and the Spirit.

Yoga instruction, healing therapies, and all kinds of outdoor activities are available on request to increase the experience of retreat and renewal.
The Lodge includes a spacious main hall with a massive lava rock fireplace, all natural wood walls with high open beamed ceiling, and a large fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. There are 11 guest rooms that will comfortably accommodate 22 people.
Seven of the rooms have a private bath with shower. Two more baths are each shared by two adjoining rooms. The Lodge is also with a swimming pool and barbecue facilities.

The Grove Cottage

The rustic 4-bedroom cottage sleeps eight comfortably and offers remote country charm. It is surrounded by open conservation land, with views over the ocean to Maui.
The large, open living room/dining room has a huge fireplace, wood floors, and teak Balinese furnishings.
In season, you can enjoy the magnificence of the migrating humpback whales (December-April). Snorkel in the clear waters of the Pacific Ocean. Experience warm sunny days, lush green mountains and clear starry nights. Not near any stores or restaurants - extremely secluded, private and quiet.

The Sunrise Cottage

Our rustic, two-bedroom Sunrise Cottage offers casual, unsophisticated comfort allowing you to "get away from it all" and experience Hawaii of the 1930's.
Located on, but away from the activity of the ranch, the cottage offers spectacular views and comfortable lodging.
Two acres of manicured lawn and tropical gardens greet you at the front door with Maui's west shores visible from the lanai.
Every window offers tranquil views of verdant pastures with grazing horses and cattle. Set against the blues and greens of the Pacific, the silhouettes of other islands rise in the distance.
From December through April you can see Humpback whales from the living room.
Best suited for private and secluded relaxation, the cottage offers inspiring views of the stars and constellations. You'll awaken to song birds after tranquil nights.
